Bjorn and Allison's share: $529

In 2024, Vision Credit Union returned $35 million to its members. That’s a big cash infusion for our members and for rural Alberta communities. Bjorn and Allison got $529. They're owners of Bear Butchering, a custom meat and wild game processing shop in the Pincher Creek area. Thanks to their work ethic, a killer jerky recipe and loyal regulars, their business keeps them hopping year-round. They were excited to receive their Vision profit shares, though. With five kids at home, says Bjorn, every extra dollar helps keep the wolf from the door. Good thing it doesn’t have the same effect on the rest of the game.
