This is Francois and his family. In 2025, he got a $14,325 profit shares return, which he put back into the family business: Allard Logging Ltd. Francois hasn’t logged in decades, but he kept the name for the family farm that he runs full-time with his brother and son. Francois says he spent the first half of his life cutting trees and the second half planting them – he’s planted over 125,000 native trees on the farm so far. He believes in giving back to the land that has given him so much – it’s reciprocity. Sort of like banking somewhere that returns a share of the profits. What’s your share?
