Getting ready: Personal Banking

What you need to DO:

Step 1

Get log in-ready

  • Ensure you know and/or record your password and Member Card number or Login ID. 
  • Check that you can log into your online banking with the current platform.
  • Ensure your member card has not expired.

Step 2

Ensure your information is current

  • Check that your cell number and personal email are up to date. You will need this to log in for the first time. You can update this at your branch or via your online banking.

Step 3

Review payee and e-Transfer lists and security questions

  • Payees and e-Transfer recipient lists will transfer automatically. Now is a good time to review these lists and ensure they’re up to date. Remove those no longer required.

What you need to KNOW:

  • Will there be any service interruptions?

    There will be a brief service interruption to online and mobile banking during the transition. We will provide detailed updates on any service interruptions closer to the transition date.

  • Will I need to download a new app for my smartphone?

    Yes. Our digital banking platform will feature a new app for iPhone and Android smartphones.


    If you have an iOS device (iPhone), you’ll be able to simply update your app. If you use an Android device, you’ll need to delete your current app and download the new one from the Google Playstore

  • Will I need to download a new app for my tablet?

    No. The new website and online banking platform is optimized for tablets, so you won’t need an app for your tablet.

  • Will my memorized login(s) carry over to the new digital banking platform?

    No. You will need to enter your login when you set up your online banking.

  • Will my alerts carry over to the new digital banking platform?

    No. You will need to set these up after logging into the platform for the first time.

  • Will I need to re-enter my payee and e-transfer information?

    No. Payees and e-Transfer recipient lists will transfer automatically. Now is a good time to review these lists and ensure they’re up to date. Remove those no longer required.


    We don’t anticipate issues transferring these lists to the new platform however, you may want to record these contact lists in the unlikely event of a migration error.

  • Will my e-Statements and payments information transfer over?

    e-Statements and most payment information will transfer automatically. We don’t anticipate issues with your historical e-Statements transferring to the new platform however, you may want to download necessary e-Statements in the unlikely event of a migration error. 


    *Historical CRA payments will not migrate over. If needed, record past payments.

Getting ready: Business Banking

What you need to DO:

Step 1

Make a note of delegate information

  • If you have delegates on your business accounts, now is a good time to record that delegate information. You’ll need to re-add these when you log into the new platform.

Step 2

Ensure we have current information for you and account signers

  • Check that your cell number and personal email are up to date. You will need this to log in for the first time. Ensure every signer’s contact information is up-to-date with Vision. You can update this at your branch or via your online banking.

Step 3

Review payee and e-Transfer lists and security questions

  • Payees and e-Transfer recipient lists will transfer automatically. Now is a good time to review these lists and ensure they’re up to date. Remove those no longer required.

Confirm that online banking logins are active

  • Ensure that account owners and signers who need online access have a functioning password and Member Card number or Login ID.
